Savanne (Mauritian Creole pronunciation: [savan]) or Savannah is a district of Mauritius, situated in the south of the island. The district has an area of 244.8 square kilometres (94.5 sq mi). As of 31 December 2015[update], the estimated population was 68,585.[2]

- Bel Ombre Nature Reserve: a nature reserve located in Bel Ombre, Mauritius. It is the largest nature reserve, being 1,300 hectares (3,200 acres).
